Devastating new out of the Jags camp. Dane Morrow rookie QB out of Penn State has torn his biceps and will be sidelined for another 6 to 7 weeks.
"Obviously you hate to see anyone get injured, but when it is your starting QB, it hurts." Said GM Wright. "We look forward to having him back later this season and hope to welcome him back to a winning team."
With Morrow out, Alex Smith has taken the reigns. Last season, Smith filled in often for the injury prone Jeff Garcia. Smith offers a running threat but at the cost of accuracy and completion percentage.
Since Morrow's injury, the Jags have dropped 2 of 3 games.
