play for cash?

Who here would be willing to play for cash.

The layout would look like this:



Money that goes towards the league: $200 (Will buy the domain name, to eliminate the ".forumotion" part of the site address, making it "globalfootball.com", or if thats taken the site will be "GFL.com"... you get the idea, and it will also pay for the stat tracker, which I pay for monthly)

$25.00 a team (Some leagues I have seen do 50, and 100 a team)


NFC champion: $200

AFC Champion: $200

Super Bowl Champ: $400




So basically its a win win here. and also, the worst team in the league will play free the following season. Possibly the worst team from each conference. I will decide on that later. Prize $ will stay the same though.


So what do you guys think?

i'm not sure about this, cause since the days to get games in, you possibly might not even play. Also another factor is people can't cheat and get away with it. Not saying anyone would but some people since it's playoffs it could happen. Plus 200 to league??? domains can range from price and i think you can find a cheap one and Stat Tracker, you have to pay? Also is anybody even using it?

GFL.com is probably a 500,000 dollar domain... You'd have to get like theGFLleague.com



I'm down for this, but you got to find a full league of dedicated people... that's the hard part

it's going to make the league different, people will want to play there games and with 32 people in a league it's a lot harder...... that means slower seasons to make sure everyone gets a fair chance of winning this or you get people who drop out feeling cheated.....

then there has got to be rules for this.....

it will turn into who has the better nano's/gimmick plays because people will want to win

if this league was smaller/had a set rules I would do it

I am going to make a set of standard rules that most leagues go by, sorry I should of stated this. Also YOU ALL HAVE TO USE THE STAT TRACKER PERIOD. End of discussion.

on another note:

Domain for the forum/site comes out to $23.75

I'd also pay to take the adds off which is 23.75. Thats $47.05 right there I believe off the top of my head.

Then I pay 10 for the stat tracker a month. thats another 120.

Also, as far as finding dedicated Members... If you tell them they have a shot at winning over 500 bucks to play Madden at the cost of 25, I bet you a LOT of people would sign up for that. lol.

well the rules will be my deciding factor...when we see some rules it would help me decide

At first i was opposed to this, but now that people are throwing out the option of redrafting I am more likely to go for it.

I would love to have "my own" team if we are going to put money in the pot. Can we reduce it as well? Like 15-20$?

I think i am going to just make a seperate league for cash players.
