The Ravens, who arguably had the best off season in league, struck another deal. Despite Lito Shepperd's clutch performances, the Ravens realize this is a business, and Lito was aging, and really lacking speed, and in the Man to Man coverage department. So, This past weekend, The Ravens would set out to upgrade the Corner position, as they acquired Bronco's starting Cornerback Darelle Revis for a round 1, Lito Shepperd, Darius Heyward-Bey, and they would also get back their own round 3 from an earlier deal made by the 2 teams for Elvis Dumervil.
The Ravens would also recieve Ramses Barden, who at 6'6, 230 lbs, has very good hands, and can play a big role inside the red zone. Some argue the Ravens may have overpaid, but Baltimore feels they have now solidified their Defensive secondary, and they now feel they are built perfectly to fit their owner's blueprint, and didn't have much other then the Offensive line to build up in this years up coming draft. The Baltimore Ravens parted ways with Heyward-Bey due to the fact he could not hold on to the ball.
